In a post on Truth Social in the middle of the night, President Donald Trump reacted furiously to a rumor that was visibly haunting him at 2 a.m., that NBC reportedly intended to extend Seth Meyers’ contract to continue hosting Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Trump loses it over ‘sick rumor’ that NBC extended ‘insecure child’ Seth Meyers’ contract — which happened last year

Trump launched his late-night post on his social network by denouncing “a sick rumor” claiming that NBC would like to extend the contract of Seth Meyers, whom he portrays as one of the least talented late-night hosts.

“There is a sick rumor going around that Fake News NBC extended the contract of one of the least talented Late Night television hosts out there, Seth Meyers,” the president wrote.
Trump continues in his message by insulting Meyers: “He has no Ratings, Talent, or Intelligence, and the Personality of an insecure child.”

Trump then questions why NBC would do this, and says he’ll make it his mission to find the answer: “So, why would Fake News NBC extend this dope’s contract. I don’t know, but I’ll definitely be finding out!!!”.
And yet… Seth Meyers has already extended his contract with NBCUniversal… in May 2024.
A contract that ensures he’ll remain at the helm of Late Night with Seth Meyers until 2028, or for the duration of Donald Trump’s second term as president.
