Actress Daveigh Chase has died, TMZ reports.

Chase died from meningitis and an infection, according to her boyfriend.

Chase was admitted to a hospital in L.A. for malnutrition, TMZ reports.

Daveigh Chase caught her big break in Hollywood early with Lilo & Stitch back in 2002 and the follow-up TV show. She also voiced Chihiro in Spirited Away.

She claimed to fame with her haunting performance as Samara Morgan, in the 2002 hit film The Ring, with Naomi Watts.

In 2006, she starred in the HBO series Big Love.

Her other credits include Donnie Darko, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Mercy and ER, among others. 

Daveigh Chase was 35.
