A volunteer at ReStore Tulsa says he was forcibly removed and fired after trying to assist local Oklahomans fleeing from a nearby area. He alleges that the group he tried to assist was fleeing from ICE and that a worker at the Tulsa location, “Robin,” actively stopped him from assisting.
TikTok content creator Tom Nook (@tom.nook53), whose TikTok handle is an alias, discussed his experience volunteering with ReStore Tulsa, a Habitat for Humanity-affiliated project. He and multiple other volunteers noticed a group of 12-15 people fleeing from a local business recently. So, they helped the group by giving them directions.
