Woman goes on solo trip, orders a drink. Then the server says ‘I was waiting for someone to order that’: ‘Should’ve taken that as a sign’

Going on a solo adventure can be an exhilarating experience, whether it be a quick trip to a bar or a restaurant outing. But one woman is going viral for sharing a moment in which a solo trip resulted in an interesting encounter with a green hand. 

Sophie (@scranwithsophie) took a trip to Bellboy Berlin. While there, she ordered a drink that seemingly roused the attention of her server. 

After Sophie received the beverage, she realized why. The cocktail came with a giant, green glove that resembled a Hulk toy. She wore it while drinking the cocktail. 

“What is this drink that I've just been provided with?” Sophie asked. 

As of this writing, the content creator's post highlighting the drink has more than 416,000 views. Viewers tried to guess what the drink was, while others discussed the bar she went to.

What drink did she order?

Sophie did not clarify what drink she ordered at the bar, but a few commenters had guesses. 

“The incredible Mojito,” one viewer said in reference to the Marvel character. Sophie replied to the comment with a laughing emoji. 

When another person asked what drink she ordered, Sophie said, “The waitress said ‘I was waiting for someone to order that' when I ordered it, should've taken that as a sign.”

The bar's menu options don't illuminate what the cocktail is, either, although Bellboy Berlin has a variety of herbal or “green” beverages that could be a plausible match.

Why the giant green hand?

Bellboy Berlin offers eclectic drinks and interesting menu options. One of the bar's cocktails, for instance, comes out in a mini, novelty bathtub. It features a foam that looks like bath bubbles, alongside a toy rubber ducky. 

The bar's website features another cocktail that comes inside a camera lens. In another picture, the bar highlights a drink that's served in a large seashell. 

One reviewer on Tripadvisor said, “Each cocktail is a masterpiece, served in unconventional vessels… The creativity extends beyond presentation, with flavors that are bold, balanced, and unforgettable.”

Not all of the drinks and menu items come with intriguing additions, but many of the bar's offerings have a special twist. In Sophie's case, she happened to order a drink that came with a large glove. 

Other viewers joked about receiving the glove alongside the cocktail during a special occasion. 

One viewer said, “imagine ordering this on a first date.” Another replied, “I'd completely ignore it and drink it casually.”
