Postal service employees, graphic designers, executive secretaries, and customer service workers would be among those affected.

Moreover, 77% of companies surveyed in this research indicated that they intend to train their current workers in these new technologies, particularly generative AI, between 2025 and 2030.

Their goal is to promote optimal collaboration between humans and machines.

This rise of AI will also lead to hiring. Indeed, nearly 70% of surveyed companies plan to hire workers with skills to create and improve AI tools.

Moreover, 62% of them want to hire more people with the necessary skills to collaborate effectively with AI.

“The advancements in AI and renewable energies are reshaping the labor market, resulting in an increased demand for many technological or specialized positions, while causing a decline for others, such as graphic designers,” the WEF stated in a press release.
