Kamala Harris made a final plea to Americans in front of the White House, in the same place where Donald Trump had gathered his supporters for the “Stop the Steal” rally before the violent assault on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Over 75,000 people gathered at Ellipse Park to hear Kamala Harris’s closing arguments, setting an audience record according to her campaign.

In her speech, Harris said it was time to turn the page on Trump, who she said had spent nearly a decade “dividing and scaring Americans from each other”.

Kamala Harris promised Americans, in an effort to bring everyone together, not to denigrate those who think differently from her, but rather to invite them to the table.

The vice president said Trump would have an enemies list on his first day in the White House, while she’d have more of a to-do list.

The list includes several goals, including working to restore nationwide access to abortion, increasing the nation’s housing supply and expanding Medicare coverage for home care.

Thousands of people were directed to another park with giant screens to listen to Kamala Harris’ speech, as Ellipse Park was already full. Harris has drawn large crowds throughout her election campaign.

Kamala Harris promised to be a president for all in this important message to undecided and moderate Republicans who don’t support Donald Trump.
