The FBI has confirmed that it has recovered the weapon allegedly used to murder conservative influencer Charlie Kirk.
No suspects
The FBI still has no suspects on the heels of the murder of conservative political influencer Charlie Kirk, who was killed in Utah last Wednesday (September 10), while speaking at Utah Valley University.
A single shot
The assassin is said to have stood about 600 feet from the victim, on a rooftop, armed with a long-range weapon, before firing a single shot, hitting Charlie Kirk in the neck, confirmed the New York Times.
Donald Trump
Charlie Kirk’s death was confirmed quickly thereafter, initially by President Donald Trump himself.
Two individuals questioned, then released
Two suspects were detained and questioned, the first arrested at the scene, but neither proved to be the perpetrator of the crime, confirms the FBI.
No arrests
In fact, authorities have no suspects in custody at the time of writing, while the FBI was holding a press conference on the morning of September 11.
The weapon
They did, however, recover the murder weapon.
Images of the killer
Few images initially appeared to be available of the killer’s location at the time of the murder, so the FBI asked civilians present at the event to submit their photos and videos of the event. Following this request, the FBI confirmed on September 11 that it had secured images of the killer.

The murder of Charlie Kirk has shocked America, and people of all political affiliations.

The Governor of Utah seemed particularly shaken by the assassination, which he did not hesitate to describe as political.
