An Amazon driver dropped by a woman's house with a package. Then he captured an image of something surprising. And funny.

TikToker McKayla Anokwute (@mckhendricks) posted an 8-second clip that had her commenters laughing. The reason why? Her dog made a surprising cameo in a photo taken by a delivery driver who approached her door that baffled commenters. Anokwute's video has more than 5.9 million views, with her dog endearing itself to commenters.

In it, she showed what her dog looked like. She captioned the first section of her video, “Your delivery driver left a photo.”

In the image, Anokwute's dog was standing on its hind legs. The dog had two of its paws touching the glass door facing the driver, and it stared into the camera.

“The way I was dying laughing when I saw the photo,” Anokwute wrote in her caption.

Other commenters shared that they, too, died laughing. They joked about the dog's apparent dramatics and its almost religious pose.

“Why does he look like he's telling the delivery man to save himself?” one viewer wrote.

Postman versus dog

Some viewers, who said they were DoorDash drivers, added that they wait for barking dogs to be in a perfect position before taking a photo. As it turns out, many drivers photograph pets in delivery shots whenever they're greeted by a furry animal.

“As a door dasher.. Whenever I see an animal near the door I wait as long as possible to get the perfect picture of them in the drop off photo for this hilarious reason,” one viewer said.

Another commenter said, “Ngl, as a delivery driver I purposely take the photos at a good angle to get the dogs in them.”

Online, other pooches have gone viral for greeting delivery drivers and even accepting packages on their owners' behalf.

Viewers share their pets

In the comment section, viewers shared photos of their own pets at their doors during deliveries.

“Bahaha. This is my crazy dog captured during an Amazon delivery,” one commenter said, while posting a video of their dog, who stood in a similar position to Anokwute's. Then, there were countless others who shared photos of their animals' antics.

“I've been laughing so hard I'm crying now the comments have not helped,” another commenter wrote.
