With the Jays, his contribution will be very important to ensure that every pitcher on the team is "in the right chair".

The year 2022 is off to a bad start for him with a stay on the injured list. At 35 years old, he is getting a bit old.

However, his effectiveness has never been in doubt in the past. He could very well pick up where he left off in 2019 and 2020.

...or the shaky pitcher of the 2nd half of the season? As the 5th starter, he proves to be a less worrisome record.

In relief, Adam Cimber is leading the way in the early going. He came over from Miami in 2021 and has been very successful since then.

His efforts coupled with those of Yimi Garcia, who also played in Miami last year, make the Jays a tough team to beat late in games.

Garcia, backed by a good lineup, is pitching with a lot of confidence, unlike 2021.

Other relievers have been impressive this early in the season and are providing hope for major honors. Jordan Romano, for example.
