AOC enrages republicans and remains a rising star for democrats

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, New York representative and opening night speaker at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, delivered a powerful speech Monday night in support of Kamala Harris for president, to enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, famous for her grassroots activism and progressive views, offered an ambitious and compelling vision for the future Harris administration. She called on everyone to knock on their neighbors’ doors and mobilize their communities to elect Kamala on November 5.

AOC calls on Democrats to forcefully affirm, through the power of their vote, that “We the People will never go back.”

Her speech aroused marked enthusiasm among the crowd, who chanted “AOC! AOC!”

AOC took the time to compare Kamala Harris to former President Donald Trump, pointing out that Harris, coming from the middle class, understands the everyday difficulties people face, such as the cost of groceries or medication.

She stressed the importance of choosing leaders capable of fighting corporate greed, economic inequality, and understanding the realities of everyday life.

AOC harshly criticized Trump, accusing him of being willing to “sell this country for a dollar” to help both himself and his wealthy friends.

She also responded to those who advised her to leave politics and return to her former profession as a waitress, saying she would do so with pleasure, as there’s nothing wrong with working hard for a living.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also expressed her gratitude to Joe Biden for his leadership and years of service to the nation. In the end, in addition to infuriating Republicans, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez once again established herself as a rising star among Democrats.
