  • She's wrapping up her tour soon
  • A well-deserved break, away from the critics

After wrapping up her Eternal Sunshine world tour with a final show scheduled for London on September 1, Ariana Grande plans to take a break from the public eye. This decision comes as the 33-year-old singer faces growing media attention regarding her health and physical appearance—topics that regularly fuel discussions on social media and in the press.

According to information obtained by PEOPLE magazine, a representative for the artist confirmed that she will step away from the spotlight once her tour is over. “Ariana will be stepping back from the public eye after her Eternal Sunshine tour ends,” the representative said.

According to her representative, this break will allow the singer to catch her breath after several months on the road. “She's looking forward to finishing the tour on a high note, in great shape and happy, and then taking a well-deserved break from public appearances, which have exposed her to relentless media attention,” he explained.

Despite this decision, Ariana Grande reportedly has fond memories of the tour. Her representative also made a point of emphasizing just how meaningful this series of concerts has been for the singer. “This tour has been a wonderful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every moment,” he added.

No details have been revealed regarding the length of this break or her upcoming projects. For now, Ariana Grande simply wants to enjoy a well-deserved rest after a demanding tour, away from the cameras and the constant public attention.

Criticism of Her Appearance

For several years now, Ariana Grande has been a regular target of comments regarding her health, physical appearance, and weight. While some internet users claim to be genuinely concerned for her well-being, others do not hesitate to openly criticize her appearance. This situation intensified once again throughout her Eternal Sunshine tour, as each of her public appearances was scrutinized and commented on across social media.

Like many public figures, the singer has previously spoken about how distressing these kinds of remarks can be. During her promotional tour, in an interview with YouTube content creator Sally, she spoke candidly about the relentless criticism of her appearance.

“It's hard to shield yourself from all that noise. It's horrible for anyone to go through. I think these days people allow themselves to do a lot of things they shouldn't, like commenting on other people's appearances. It's about clothes, body shape, faces… Absolutely everything! I find that really dangerous,” she said.

According to PEOPLE magazine, this break will also mark a change in her professional schedule. Ariana Grande will ultimately not be participating in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's musical Sunday in the Park with George, which is set to open in London's West End. The artist therefore seems to want to temporarily put her public career on hold in order to refocus on herself and enjoy a well-deserved period of rest.
