Arrested, Gigi Hadid pleads guilty!

Gigi Hadid, who wanted to enjoy a wonderful vacation with a friend on the beautiful beaches of the Cayman Islands, found herself in hot water as soon as she arrived at the airport!

The 28-year-old model was arrested on arrival on July 10, when authorities searched her luggage and discovered marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Hadid and her friend were both arrested on the spot and transported to a detention center, then released on a promise to appear.

The star had to plead guilty on July 12, to be fined $1,000.

However, a representative for the star explained to E! News that Gigi was in possession of “[…] marijuana purchased legally in New York with a medical license”.

According to Hadid’s representative, marijuana use has been legal in the Cayman Islands since 2017 for medical use, which immediately cleared the star’s record.

So she could enjoy the rest of her vacation!
