Another day, another TikTok food trend that has people raving and mass-ordering it. This time, it's a specific Cheesecake Factory dish that one food runner noticed piling up at the restaurant's expo window.

“So, I'm at the Cheesecake Factory and look what TikTok has done. All these g– d– Cajun Salmon.” Cheesecake Factory food runner Angelo (@dtheman35) says, panning over the rows of Cajun salmon dishes on the expo window counter. “Look at that sh–.”

Out of the 10 dishes ready to go, six are the viral meal. After a pause, the content creator adds, “TikTok, you done it again.”

“Keith Lee, he got all the people coming for the Cajun salmon,” Angelo writes in the caption, tagging the popular food reviewer.

‘Ordering mine tonight'

Angelo's video racked up over 642,000 views, and many fellow employees resonated with this.

“We had 24 / 32 checks at once last [annd] all Cajuns. #nashvilleopry,” one viewer revealed.

“We had 17 pop up on our screen(all different mods) all at once the other day. I know our cooks were pisssed,” another shared.

“So this is why I had about 5 people from my section ordering Cajun salmon,” a third said.

Meanwhile, others added to the frenzy by rushing to their nearest locations.

“Babbby I got mine tuuuhday lol,” one commenter stated.

“Omg let me get down there before it be none left,” a second remarked.

“I got it yesterday!!! It was so good,” a third wrote.

Who Made This Cheesecake Factory Dish Go Viral?

On September 2, TikTok creator Shay (@Slayed_byshayyyy) posted her 15-second recommendation to her followers. As of this writing, it has 4.5 million views.

“Go to Cheesecake Factory. Get this Cajun salmon, get an extra little side of sauce,” she said, pouring sauce on her salmon and shrimp on her plate. “Get the loaded mash with corn, add shrimp. Ask for a side of Cajun seasoning so you can add a little trazzle dazzle if you know what I'm saying.”

Eventually, this food hack landed on influential social media food critic Keith Lee's (@keith_lee125) FYP, adding another layer of virality.

His authenticity and personable personality captured viewers' taste buds and trust, sending them racing to those restaurants, a phenomenon known as “The Keith Lee Effect.” It seems Shay's video picked up momentum first since his clip was posted on September 11 and stitched hers first. Currently, it has 3.8 million views.

“I got it. So, let's try it,” he said, sitting in a Dallas Cheesecake Factory with the same plate on his table without the shrimp. Immediately, the dish was off to a good start.

He says, “I will say, presentation-wise, it looks exactly as she said it would.”

After sprinkling seasoning and dousing the salmon in sauce, he dug his fork into the salmon and side dishes and took a bite. According to the creator's facial expression, it was a hit, and he ate another forkful.

“In my opinion, it's the seasoning. It's flaky, it's fresh. It's a little spicy but not super spicy,” Lee said. “It has a nice little kick to it.”

After he takes his third bite, it's time for the verdict. “This is a nine out of 10,” he says. “Boy, they're gonna have to prop me off this table.”

It seems this massive sensation was a joint effort from Shay's viewers and Keith Lee, as Shay wrote in the caption of a follow-up clip, “s/o yall and @Keith Lee for all the love.”
