Death threats
Teak Brockbank, a 45-year-old Colorado resident, has been charged with making death threats against Colorado and Arizona election officials, judges and law enforcement officers.
Specifically targeted
Brockbank reportedly accused Colorado and Arizona officials of “treason”, called for their deaths and specifically targeted judges who ruled against Donald Trump during election cases.
On social media
Brockbank is accused of posting violent messages on social media in 2021 and 2022 that illustrate Brockbank’s violent rhetoric against a judge.
His intent
According to the FBI, the individual, expressed by text message or on social networks including two right-wing social media sites (Rumble and Gab), using the pseudonym Teakty4u, his intention to attack a judge who had ruled against Donald Trump, stating that he wanted to use “his gun” to “send it to the Creator” and that he would feel “justified” in doing so.
Four other judges
He reportedly later informed his father-in-law that he had added four more judges to his list, after they had removed Trump’s name from Colorado ballots for the 2024 election, a decision that was later overturned by the Supreme Court.
Their own laws
As concerns grow over worker safety in the upcoming election, Brockbank has also reportedly urged others to set “their own laws” to combat what he calls “voter fraud in Colorado”, saying on social media that the people must “take matters into their own hands”.
Fully justified
According to the FBI documents, Brockbank also stated that he believed it would be “completely justified” to shoot federal agents if they arrived at his home.

According to the FBI, the man, who also made numerous references to slogans associated with the QAnon movement in his messages, is also charged with illegal possession of firearms.
Maximum sentence
He faces a maximum sentence of five years’ imprisonment.
