Drake joins the Backstreet Boys in Toronto

Toronto fans of the Backstreet Boys experienced a magical moment last Saturday. Drake, a hometown boy and the world’s biggest hip-hop star joined the boy band on stage.

Introduced as the “sixth member” of the group, Drake appeared on theBudweiser in Toronto to the shrieks of thousands of fans.

Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJMcLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson let the Toronto star sing a special version of their ’90s hit with them I Want It That Way.

“Toronto, I want you to get loud and I want you to sing this song as loud as you can,” Drake said on stage. “This is one of the greatest songs in the history of music. I’m going to be on stage for it, I’m going to try to sing it too.”

The Backstreet Boys were in Toronto as part of their DNA world tour.

Drake is breaking a lot of records right now. The Toronto native’s new album hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 204,000 units last week and placing his 11th album at No. 1 on the North American chart.
