Lindsey Padgett (@lindseypadgett), better known on TikTok for her beadwork, breaks format to walk through a haul she says she pulled from T.J. Maxx's website—Byredo, Oribe, Guerlain, Elemis—at off-price tags.

Luxury Toiletries at T.J. Maxx

“Hi. This is not my usual content, but I hit the motherlode at T.J. Maxx online. Let me show you what I got,” Padgett opens.

She traces the Byredo pull to a Nashville hotel that stocked the brand in every amenity. She holds up Bal d'Afrique shampoo and conditioner from the site: “It smells heavenly. I haven't used it yet because I was waiting for this video.”

Padgett says in the comments section that she stayed at Hutton Hotel. Google says The Conrad Nashville and The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, in Nashville, both also carry these products.

Then Oribe—the line she stakes her whole thesis on. “I look bougie using Oribe, but 99% of the time, I get [it at] T.J. Maxx.”

Hairspray, a mister, and a Wet brush that runs roughly $5 and outperforms the boutique names, per her account: “You can talk about Mason Pearson, all those things all day long. This is it. This is my favorite brush ever.”

The pile deepens: MAC's Hyper Real, Guerlain's Abeille Royale Advanced Youth Watery Oil she'd coveted since a Sephora sample, Origins toner, a men's SPF 15 she talked her husband into, Oribe hand cream, and Elemis hand wash for the guest bath she says smells “hotel rich,” and some other items.

Then the workaround—well, it's not really a workaround. T.J. Maxx wants you to get the deal you want, but you have to work for it. “The trick is if you want Oribe, you can't type in Oribe, and it won't come up. You gotta actually go to hair care and just scroll through the hair care,” she says.

‘Since When Does T.J. Maxx Carry Byredo?!'

In the comments section, Padgett was given one note about her Byredo purchases.

“Byredo employee here. We don't make a shampoo & conditioner,” a viewer said. “It's made by the company that provides amenities to the hotels. Hopefully it smells like Bal D'Afrique but it's not a Byredo formula. But if it smells good, I say go for it.”

Byredo does sell scented lotions, creams, and body oils. However, hotel amenities supplier Hunter Amenities sells the Byredo shampoo and conditioner wholesale, most likely in a licensing agreement with Byredo.

“I just went on their website. They [don't] have any of these products … just like Costco online,” said one person. “Guess you have to ‘hunt' for it.”

Padgett replied, “Yes, you have to hunt! Just go to beauty-skincare-then scroll. It's worth it for me!”

The Scroll-to-Score Playbook

Padgett's dig-around mirrors the model TJX's CEO has been describing to investors. On the Q1 fiscal 2026 call, Ernie Herrman said “the availability of merchandise we are seeing is outstanding,” per Glossy, which reported mass, prestige, and luxury beauty brands quietly moving through the channel at 30–70% off MSRP.

Herrman was blunter on the Q4 call: “We are going after brands in a more aggressive manner than we also have ever had before,” per Retail Brew, adding that TJX “means more to the branded vendor community than ever.”

The site runs on the same buying engine as the stores. A Byredo shampoo, even if it's not entirely legitimate, waits three category clicks deep.
