Trump, reluctant to accept criticism, launched into a violent tirade.
Tensions are escalating

Tensions between Donald Trump and Bruce Springsteen are escalating, with the president having recently stepped up his attacks on the musician on his social network.
A golf ball!

Trump posted a fake video in which he appears to send a golf ball at the Boss, followed later by a message calling him “JERK” and claiming that he “never liked him” anyway.
"corrupt, incompetent and treacherous"

The insults followed some highly critical remarks the musician had made about the Trump administration at the launch of his European tour: “The America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration”.
Springsteen not "talented"

That’s all it took for Trump, who is reluctant to tolerate criticism, to launch into a diatribe on his social network aimed at the famous American musician, declaring: “I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States. Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy — Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK.”
Land of Hope & Dreams

Then there’s the surprise of Springsteen, who has announced the release of a six-track EP entitled Land of Hope & Dreams, in which he offers some harsh criticism of the American president.
The criticism

The EP features a mix of songs and speech excerpts from his recent concert in Manchester, England, where Springsteen voiced the criticism that inflamed Trump on Truth Social.
"failed to protect the American people"

But according to the New York Times, the musician goes further: in the introduction to the song My City of Ruins, he also takes aim at a large proportion of elected representatives, whom he accuses of having “have failed to protect the American people from the abuses of an unfit president and a rogue government”.
