It’s the beginning of the end for Rudy Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani has been disbarred.

This decision was made by the New York First Division Appellate Department, which deemed his remarks erroneous and misleading in the wake of the 2020 presidential election.

This marks the end of his legal career…

…and underscores his baseless accusations of voter fraud while serving as former President Donald Trump’s personal attorney.

In a statement, the court didn’t mince words in asserting that Giuliani actively contributed to the national discord that followed the 2020 presidential elections.

The ex-lawyer had his license to practice revoked in 2021, demonstrating the seriousness and scale of his actions. At the time, the court emphasized:

“Contrary to respondent’s allegations, there is nothing on the record before us that would permit the conclusion that respondent lacked knowledge of the falsehood of the numerous statements that he made, and that he had a good faith basis to believe them to be true.”

Giuliani and his spokesman Ted Goodman were quick to react to the disbarment. Goodman called the court’s decision “corrupt” and promised to appeal.

Without his right to practice, Rudy will be nothing more than a megaphone… and a lousy one at that.
