Kamala Harris brings back the Converse

Democratic Party presidential candidate and current vice-president Kamala Harris has once again donned the famous Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes that caused such a stir during the 2020 campaign, when she ran as Joe Biden’s running mate.

The iconic shoes make a comeback for Kamala, as she kicks off her own presidential campaign, this time alongside Tim Walz, Governor of Minnesota.

They were first noticed when she stepped off the plane in Milwaukee in September 2020, on the occasion of her first trip as a Democratic candidate, this time for the vice-presidency.

Then, she was back on the campaign trail on a bus trip across Pennsylvania, where she was greeted by a team of firefighters and their dog during her visit to a fire station!

Harris and her Converse were then seen at football practice, where she gave a speech to the Aliquippa High School football team.

Then Harris, in Converse, stopped at a gas station where she bought some Doritos, a moment already iconic!
