Lizzo in hot water, Made in America Festival cancelled
The 2023 edition of the Made in America Festival, scheduled to take place in Philadelphia on September 2 and 3, has been cancelled.

In fact, according to TMZ, Festival organizers have issued a statement saying they had to cancel the event due to severe circumstances beyond their control.

“This decision has been difficult and has not been made lightly nor without immense deliberation,” the statement reads.

Several artists were scheduled to perform, including Lizzo and SZA as headliners.

However, Lizzo has found herself in hot water in recent weeks, amid serious allegations of harassment and toxic work environment.

It’s unclear whether this latest Lizzo controversy had anything to do with the Festival’s cancellation, but the timing is not insignificant.

Fortunately, organizers hope to bring back the Made in America Festival in 2024.

It should be noted that ticket holders can obtain a refund at the point of sale where the tickets were purchased.
