Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been dominating Major League Baseball for the past few seasons. As his father did for a long time too!

Vladimir Sr. first played for the Montreal Expos. He was a product of the organization. He signed in 1993 as a free agent.

Born in the Dominican Republic, he made his debut in Montreal in 1996. In 2003, he left for California.

The Angels had offered him a big contract, a deal that also allowed him to move to a healthy baseball market.

Named Most Valuable Player in 2004, Vladimir Guerrero hit 449 home runs in 2,590 career hits.

Having witnessed many of the feats, Guerrero's son, Vladimir Jr. has grown up. And the older he gets, the more he looks like Dad!

Like Sr., the young man is also very successful. He has been demonstrating this since 2019 with the Blue Jays.

While he has continued to improve since then, Guerrero Jr. became a real baseball star last summer when he hit 48 home runs.

A finalist for MVP, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. scored 123 runs and produced 111.

With that much power, Guerrero also impresses with his consistency. In 2021, he hit 188 sure shots!

Such success wasn't built in a day. The young Guerrero first signed with the Toronto Jays in 2015.

By 2018, it was clear to Baseball that Guerrero was the best prospect in Major League Baseball.

The Jays then decided to graduate him to AA, and then to AAA a few months later. At that point, it was clear that 2019 would be the one.

But Guerrero was sent to the minors for a few games in early 2019. Money saving or overweight?

Regardless, as soon as he was recalled a few weeks later, the electrifying hitter began his fruitful journey.

Since then, he is an icon in Toronto. Everybody wants him!
