New York woman trains her Labrador to help her eat healthier. Then she tries to snack on Oreos: ‘HE TAKES HIS JOB SO SERIOUS’

Trying to diet? Your dog may be your best accountability partner. This New York dog and dog mom duo might just have the most impressive pet and owner dynamic you've ever seen.

Dunkin is the name of the dog, and Haley is the name of the mom. Haley's page (@haleyandthepets) features tons of videos with all the cool stuff she teaches Dunkin and her other pets to do. Recently, nutritionist was added to Dunkin's repertoire of tricks.

The video has 9.5 million views and 2.2 million likes.

Labrador Trained to Help Diet Responds to Oreos

Haley says she has trained Dunkin to reward and scold her before she eats anything. Dunkin seems to be trained on what is healthy food and what is unhealthy food.

“Remember when you trained ur dog to train u to eat healthy?” the text overlay on the video says.

Haley briefly shows herself training Dunkin with a thumbs up and thumbs down about what to eat and what not to eat. Then, viewers see it in action.

Haley grabs a pack of stuffed Oreos, and Dunkin gives her “the look” before practically attacking her for grabbing it. She then grabs a banana, and Dunkin returns with a paper that says “good job” with a heart.

Next, she grabs a bag of chips. Again, Dunkin attacks. Up next is pasta with cheese and red sauce. Dunkin retrieves a paper that says “tubs lol.” The saga continues, each one more impressive than the previous.

Dunkin's Got More Tricks Up His Paw

Being “Jenny Craig but … mean as hell” is not the only impressive trick Dunkin has got. Haley's page is filled with proof that this is one smart dog. Another fan-favorite trick of Dunkin's is that he adorably watches the fish in the fish tanks Haley has around the house.

Haley and Dunkin have something called “fish time,” where Dunkin puts on his special fish hat and fish shirt, Haley plays relaxing music, and they watch the fish together.

Haley explains that this didn't happen overnight. At first, Dunkin saw the fish in the tanks as prey. But now, it's relaxing all because of the routine built around it with the music and the fun props and the consistency of it happening at the same time every day.

‘Almond Dog'

Viewers' jaws dropped watching Dunkin do his tricks.

“My fat[self] would eat it while running,” says one comment.

“He strict af,” someone else says.

“He got really offended with that bag of chips,” a different viewer mentions.

“Suddenly [you're] hiding in a closet so your dog doesn't catch you eating chocolate,” another person jokes.
