Following O.J. Simpson’s death, the FBI released all the files accumulated on the former suspect over the years, in accordance with its procedures. These documents provide a detailed insight into one of the most high-profile criminal investigations in the United States.
The FBI report contains crucial information on the evidence gathering and analysis carried out during the investigation, including the examination of fibers from O.J. Simpson’s white Ford Bronco. It also includes details of forensic tests and other examinations carried out at the crime scene.
The files also include handwritten notes relating to a brand of shoes that had particularly interested investigators at the time. Investigators went to Italy to investigate the production and distribution of Bruno Magli shoes. Traces of blood were found on the brand’s Lorenzo and Lyon models at the crime scene.
