The Oscars nominations in 13 categories

A total of ten films are in the running for the Best Film category of the year 2024, namely Anora, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, Emilia Pérez, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys, The Substance, and Wicked. Several significant titles. May the best one win!

Yura Borisov (Anora), Kieran Culkin (A Real Pain), Edward Norton (A Complete Unknown), Guy Pearce (The Brutalist) and Jeremy Strong (The Apprentice) are the actors nominated for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.

Among the original screenplays, we find Anora, The Brutalist, A Real Pain, September 5, and The Substance, all of which have a high level of popularity at the Oscars this year.

For the title of Best Adapted Screenplay, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Emilia Pérez, Nickel Boys, and Sing Sing are the five contenders for the crown.

For foreign cinema, the films I’m Still Here (Brazil), The Girl With the Needle (Denmark), Emilia Pérez (France), The Seed of the Sacred Fig (Germany), and Flow (Latvia) have marked the year, as they are finalists for an Oscar.

Not to forget the animation sector, here are five animated films for the Oscars: Flow, Inside Out 2, Memoir of a Snail, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, and The Wild Robot.

In the category of documentary in cinema, the nominated films are: Black Box Diaries, No Other Land, Porcelain War, Soundtrack to a Coup D’Etat, and Sugarcane.
