Former President Donald Trump was booed during an appearance at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia. There, he debuted his Trump-branded shoes as he finds himself in the midst of legal troubles and looking to fill his coffers any way he can.

The launch of Trump’s new product line, including Never Surrender High Tops sneakers and fragrances, took place at an event at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Reactions were mixed, with enthusiastic collectors waving Sneakerheads Love Trump signs, while others expressed their displeasure with booing.

The sneakers on sale on Trump’s website (costing US$399), characterized by their gold coloring with an American flag motif on the back, quickly found takers, selling out completely within days of their introduction to the market.

However, Trump took the opportunity to stress the importance of involving young voters in the electoral process.

He declared his merch sales efforts part of American tradition!

Earlier this week, a New York judge ordered Trump to pay $355 million in his civil fraud lawsuit.
