Trump furious over a portrait (and its artist)

Trump reacted strongly on Truth Social about a painting of him that would be exhibited in the Colorado State Capitol.

Trump started his message on Truth Social by saying: «Nobody likes a bad photo or painting of themselves», accompanying his post with a picture of the painting in question.

Trump has strongly criticized the painting on display in the Colorado Capitol, claiming it was, in his view, “purposefully distorted”.

Trump even brings Barack Obama into it, comparing his portrait to Obama’s, which he describes as «looking wonderful».

Trump goes so far as to say that his own portrait, made by the same artist, is “really the worst”.

Trump criticized the artist, without naming her, stating that she had «must have lost her talent as she got older».

According to Trump, this loss of capacity was reflected in the quality of the painting representing him. In his long message on Truth Social, Trump also claimed that «many people in Colorado have complained» about the painting in question.

Trump even declared that people were truly «furious» about the painting!

He concluded by addressing the Governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, who he refers to as a «radical left governor», asking him to remove the painting, suggesting it would be better to display… nothing at all.

He concluded this message on Truth Social, faithful to himself, by stating: «Jared should be ashamed of himself!»
