Trump will be sentenced before the election!

The U.S. Supreme Court has decided not to grant former President Donald Trump and Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey a stay of conviction for Trump in the Stormy Daniels bribery case in New York.

As a result, Donald Trump will receive his sentence on September 18, a major blow for him as he will learn his fate two months before the presidential elections.

Trump and Bailey were not only seeking to postpone the sentence, but also to overturn the restrictive measures of the gag order imposed by the State of New York. Currently, the ex-president is not allowed to criticize New York court members, their families or former jury members, at least until after the election, given the high electoral tensions.

This measure is intended to protect those directly involved in the trial, as well as their loved ones.

Bailey argued that Trump’s conviction, along with the gag order, could prevent him from campaigning in Missouri, depriving Missouri voters of vital information for the upcoming election.

Last May, Trump was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records to cover up an attempt to interfere in the 2016 election, which included bribe payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

All eyes will certainly be on New York on September 18, when Trump will be sentenced.
