Twitter is still laying off a lot of staff

The New York Times announced that the company Twitter has once again fired staff, and this time, it’s no less than 10% of the workforce that was let go.

This massive cutback at Twitter continues, after 200 cuts recently made by Elon Musk’s company.

The number of employees of the business is now less than 2000.

Remember that before Musk took over Twitter for 44 billion last fall, nearly 7,500 people were working for the social media platform.

This time around, the cuts affected product managers, data scientists and engineers working on machine learning and site reliability.

In addition to this cut, the team in charge of the monetization infrastructure went from 30 to eight employees, again according to the report.
