“Underrated”: Stephen Curry will have his own documentary
For the past decade, Stephen Curry has been considered one of the top five players in the NBA, and his playoff prowess is a testament to his immense talent, but also to his determination and desire to win.

Everywhere he went to “lead” a basketball game, he was underestimated by many, including some of his coaches. This belief drove him to become stronger, and to prove to all those who underestimated him that he was the best on the court.

For this reason, the documentary being made about his perseverance-driven story will be called Underrated.

Emmy winner Peter Nicks will direct the documentary that will showcase Steph Curry as the man and athlete he is. The doc will be produced by Apple Original Films, A24, Unanimous Media (owned by Curry) and Proximity Media.

The documentary will focus on his historic success at the 2008 NCAA March Madness, in addition to his style of play that has taken him to the highest level, breaking records, changing the course of the game, winning four championships and becoming an “MVP.”

In short, through this film, people will fully grasp why the label “overlooked” is attached to Stephen Curry, the best three-point shooter in NBA history.
