A woman is inspiring Walmart shoppers to use the aisle scanners more often. Checking the price of an item you're on the fence about could help you make your final decision. This is especially true given that the price tag may say one thing while the scanner says another.
@FYNDRFINDS says she found a deal that could have easily slipped by anyone unless they were an extra curious shopper. The video, filmed at a Walmart in Ontario, Canada, has gathered 260,400 views and over 9,000 likes.
$129.98 Walmart Kenmore Mini Fridge: ‘It's a Hidden Clearance'
@FYNDRFINDS' page is filled with clearance finds from chain stores like Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Staples, just to name a few. Recently, she hit the jackpot at Walmart when she discovered that a Kenmore mini-fridge actually cost way less than it was advertised for.
“Guys, I'm shaking right now. You see the sign; it says $129.98? But when we scan this, it's a hidden clearance, and I'll show you in a sec on the scanner,” @FYNDRFINDS says.
She then shows the item's price on an aisle scanner.
“It's actually $29.99. That is a score. I'm gonna take it home with me,” @FYNDRFINDS says excitedly.
While the selling price for the Kenmore fridge is no longer listed on Walmart's site, the fridge is listed on Target's site in white for $119.99.
‘How Do You Find Hidden Clearance?'

“How do you know to scan it ? I'd be in the store scanning everything,” a comment asked.
“I didn't know it was a surprise I just randomly started scanning stuff,” @FYNDRFINDS responded.
“My Walmart doesn't have scanners anymore it's sooooo annoying,” another comment points out.

Based on a range of mini fridges surveyed by a Good Housekeeping article, a decent mini fridge will cost you at least $100 or more. This $29 deal is a steal, with a savings of 77%.
