Woman buys wings from Little Caesars. Then she takes off the lid and immediately demands answers
Is there such a thing as too much sauce on chicken wings? This condiment is the cherry on top. The more, the merrier, right? Not the case for one woman who stirred a fiery debate after expressing her disgust for the copious amount of garlic parmesan sauce on her Little Caesars wings.
Little Caesars garlic parmesan wings reveal
TikToker Danielle (@daniellexcheree) stands in her kitchen, focusing on a to-go box on her counter consisting of five pieces of chicken wings drowning in garlic parmesan.
“Um, Little Caesars, what is this?” she asks, moving around the wings in question. “We are very much confused, perplexed. What did you guys do?”
Bewildered, she asks more than 41,000 viewers: “Like, someone explain this, please.”
‘They gave you a bowl of sauce and a side of wings'
Many in the comments section were split, arguing about whether Danielle's sauce-drenched chicken wings were a blessing or a curse.
“I swear people used to not complain when they got extra,” one viewer commented.
“Shoot gimme that sauce. I'll take some for my pizza,” another stated.
“Nahhhh they gave you a bowl of sauce and a side of wings,” a third remarked.
“People saying it's extra… EXTRA WHAT???” a fourth said.
Furthermore, alleged Little Caesars employees weighed in, agreeing this may have been a worker blunder.
“It's giving the top fell off the sauce and they just left it. I would've put more chicken at least,” one commenter suggested.
“It comes in a whole [a–] jug lol. It looks like they dumped straight from it,” a second agreed.
Although Little Caesars hasn't disclosed where they source its garlic parmesan sauce, it has been a topic of discussion online before. In a r/LittleCaesars subreddit, one employee spilled the sauce about the ingredients: “It's soybean oil, water, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and lemon juice,” which seems to echo the company's ingredient list for its sauce.
Another elaborated, “Garlic parm sauce is already prepackaged,” and a third added that the brand is “Specifically made for Little Caesars.”
When too much garlic parmesan sauce becomes an issue
Regardless of whether you're adding this condiment to pasta, salad, or even chicken wings, it can be extremely tasty. However, like most things, consuming too much can pose health risks. According to Today, this type of sauce normally contains high levels of saturated fat and calories because of the butter, cream, and cheese in it. As a rule of thumb, it should account for 6% of our diet. When excessively consumed, the Cleveland Clinic lists the long-term health effects:
- Increase in low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol
- Liver disease
- Weight gain
- Type 2 diabetes
- Inflammation
