10 New Titles Coming to Disney+ in September 2026

September 2: Following its theatrical release, Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu arrives on Disney+, allowing subscribers to enjoy the famous duo from the comfort of their living rooms. The film continues the adventures of Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal, and Grogu, whose relationship has become one of the most beloved in the Star Wars universe in recent years.

Directed by Jon Favreau, the feature film brings the world of the popular series The Mandalorian to life in a larger-scale adventure. As the New Republic strives to maintain stability in the galaxy following the fall of the Empire, the Mandalorian and his young companion find themselves drawn into a new mission. Action, creatures, new dangers, and reunions are all part of this galactic adventure.

September 3: Chad Powers returns to Disney+ with a second season that promises to continue the absurd yet endearing adventures of its main character. Glen Powell reprises his role as Russ Holliday, a former college quarterback whose career derailed after an incident that ruined his reputation. To get a second chance, he created a new identity—that of the eccentric Chad Powers—in order to join a struggling football team undercover.

However, following the events of the first season, his lie becomes increasingly difficult to maintain as both the athletic and personal stakes rise. Inspired by a character created by Eli Manning, the comedy blends football, a quest for redemption, and completely wild situations, with Glen Powell always at the center of the action.

September 5–11: The Camp Rock universe continues on Disney+ with Locker Diaries: Camp Rock, a new series of short episodes that lets viewers reconnect with the characters from Camp Rock 3 from a different perspective. The series takes viewers into the hallways and daily lives of the young characters as they open their lockers, with each one leading to a new little adventure.

The stories will range from funny and lighthearted to more dramatic, surprising, or even unsettling. The cast includes Liamani Segura, Hudson Stone, Lumi Pollack, and Malachi Barton, who reprise their roles as Sage, Desi, Rosie, and Fletch, respectively. This spin-off series will extend the Camp Rock experience in a fast-paced and playful format. The first episode will premiere on Disney+ on September 5.

September 9, 16, and 23: The South Korean drama Made in Korea returns to Disney+ with a second season that continues its exploration of power, ambition, and corruption in 1970s Korea. Hyun Bin reprises his role as Baek Ki-tae, a man determined to climb the ranks and expand his influence, while Jung Woo-sung plays Jang Geon-young, a tenacious prosecutor willing to do anything to stand in his way.

Following the clashes and power struggles of the first season, this sequel is set to raise the stakes even higher as the characters’ ambitions continue to collide. September 9, 16, 23, and 30: The world of Snowfall comes to life again with The Drop: A Snowfall Saga, a new spin-off series that takes the action to 1990s Los Angeles. Gail Bean and Isaiah John reprise their roles as Wanda Bell and Leon Simmons, who are now trying to reinvent themselves as the aftermath of the crack epidemic continues to be felt. Meanwhile, a new movement is transforming the city: the explosion of West Coast rap.

Convinced that this music can revolutionize American culture, Wanda tries to carve out a place for herself in this emerging industry, where music, money, and street politics intertwine dangerously. Leon, for his part, seeks redemption far from his old life. The Drop: A Snowfall Saga premieres on Disney+ in Canada on September 9.

September 15, 22, and 29: The dance floor comes alive again with the 35th season of Dancing with the Stars, which premieres in mid-September on Disney+. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will once again host the popular competition, in which celebrities are paired with professional dancers to perform themed routines each week.

Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough will return to their seats on the judges’ panel. Among the first confirmed celebrities are Maura Higgins, Ciara Miller, and Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson. The full cast is set to be revealed on September 2. Following a 34th season that saw excellent ratings, the competition will once again aim to thrill dance fans.

September 16: The new series City of Blood premieres on Disney+ with a dark crime story that transports us to Johannesburg, South Africa. The plot follows a detective who finds herself immersed in a particularly complex investigation after the discovery of a body that raises many questions. As her investigation progresses, she uncovers a web where crime, corruption, and deeply buried secrets intertwine.

Her investigation then takes her into the city’s most dangerous areas, where the line between justice and power becomes increasingly blurred. Driven by a tense atmosphere and a portrayal of Johannesburg rarely seen from this perspective, City of Blood follows in the tradition of crime thrillers where each new discovery reveals an even more disturbing reality.

September 16 and 23: R.J. Decker returns for a second season, starring Scott Speedman as a down-and-out former photojournalist and ex-convict who has become a private investigator in South Florida. After a first season in which his investigations—as strange as they were dangerous—constantly brought him back to his past, Decker will continue his adventures alongside Emi, Mel, Wish, and Catherine, among others.

Inspired by Carl Hiaasen’s novel Double Whammy, the series blends crime investigation, drama, and humor in the colorful world of Florida. This second season will premiere on September 15, 2026, on ABC, before becoming available for streaming, with new cases that will further complicate his daily life.

September 25: American Horror Story returns in a big way with a 13th season that capitalizes on nostalgia and the return of several iconic figures from the franchise. Titled simply American Horror Story: 13, this new season will feature the return of Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, and Gabourey Sidibe.

Several memorable characters will also resurface, including Constance Langdon, Cordelia Goode, Madison Montgomery, Marie Laveau, Rubber Man, and Twisty the Clown. Consisting of 13 30-minute episodes, this season—conceived by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk—promises to draw connections to previous seasons while introducing new horrors. The first three episodes will be available on September 25 on Disney+ in Canada.

September 28: Springfield’s most famous family is far from done! The Simpsons returns for an impressive 38th season, continuing one of the longest-running series in television history. Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie will, of course, be back, as will the many colorful characters who call Springfield home.

This new season will continue to focus on the satire, current events, and completely absurd situations that have made the series—created by Matt Groening—so famous. Season 38 premieres on September 27 on FOX, before arriving on Disney+ in Canada on September 28. After more than 800 episodes, The Simpsons continues to reinvent itself while retaining the irreverent humor that has made it a true cultural phenomenon.
