Brad Pitt admits to having been scammed for a year
Brad Pitt was scammed by people who convinced him that one of his properties was hiding a golden treasure worth millions of dollars.

The Hollywood star believed scammers who convinced him that his vineyard in France,Chateau Miraval, his 1,000-acre property in Provence, was a place where a treasure had been buried in the past.

The 58-year-old actor made this surprising revelation to GQ magazine.

Brad Pitt admitted to having spent a year doing “senseless” excavations in search of buried treasure – only to realize that it was a ruse to get him to invest in a radar company.

“I became obsessed,” the actor told the magazine.

Brad Pitt never found any gold on his winery and later realized that the man who told him the first story was looking for investments for a radar company.

Chateau Miraval is at the center of a dispute between Brad Pitt and his ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie. The actress sold her shares in the vineyard, which produces highly prized rosé wines in the village of Correns, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. Since then, the actor accuses his ex “of evil intentions” in this case.
