Donald Trump is obsessed with Tom Brady. Jared Kushner‘s memoir seems to prove that theory.

The husband of Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, reveals in a forthcoming book the 45th U.S. president’s strange admiration for Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady in his book Breaking History: A White House Memoir.

At the time Jared Kushner met Ivanka Trump, in 2007, the man was the editor-in-chief of the New York Observer. Donald Trump, who did not like him, hoped that his daughter would end up in the arms of the sportsman who later became the most successful soccer player in the history of the Super Bowl.

When Kushner wanted to ask for his daughter’s hand, Donald Trump would have reminded his future son-in-law that Tom Brady was interested in his daughter. He also added that if it were up to him, he would choose Brady.

According to Jared Kushner, the former tenant of the White House was bluffing. Because at that time, Tom Brady began to date the woman who would become his wife, the supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
