Johnny Depp sells his first works of art for $3.6M

Johnny Depp launched in the last hours his very first collection of pop art and the whole thing was sold in only a few hours… for the modest sum of 3.9 million dollars.

The collection consisted of 780 pieces. An individual work was sold for $4,800 while a lot of four works was sold for $18,000, reported Daily Mail.

The American actor’s art was centered on portraits of his “Friends & Heroes,” including Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Elizabeth Taylor and Al Pacino.

“I have always used art to express my feelings and reflect on those who matter most to me, such as my family, friends and people I admire. My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and limited myself. No one should ever limit themselves,” Johnny said via the news page of Castle Fine Art, the gallery he collaborated with.

After the long and difficult trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, the actor who plays Jack Sparrow has found some happiness in his life… and a big paycheck!
