Nick Carter sued for sexual assault

The Backstreet Boys‘ most popular member, Nick Carter, is reportedly facing a sexual battery lawsuit stemming from an alleged incident involving a minor in 2001.

Legal documents cited by TMZ reveal that the alleged victim was 17 years old at the time of the alleged incident. She would have been invited by Carter to board the Backstreet Boys tour bus, while she was waiting in line for autographs.

Once on the bus, according to the document, Carter took her into the bathroom stall and ordered her to perform oral sex on him.

After the alleged act, Carter allegedly led him to a bed to continue his assault. Once the event was over, Shannon Ruth allegedly threatened Carter to report him, but Carter retorted with an insult and said that no one would believe her.

Recall that the Backstreet Boys main star has faced serious sexual misconduct allegations in the past, but has never been criminally charged.

According to TMZ, at least one source close to Nick said the accusations were categorically false and that he has been focusing on his family since the death of his brother Aaron.

Aaron Carter, however, who tragically died recently, had himself accused his brother of several indecent acts, including on Twitter and in an interview.
