Serial killer Robert Pickton succumbs to his injuries in prison

It’s the end of the Robert Pickton saga, as Canada’s notorious serial killer succumbed to his injuries in prison.

Pickton had recently been the victim of a fatal attack by another inmate.

Pickton had been convicted of murdering nine women in 2007, after being accused of killing 26.

He claimed to have killed 49, which may unfortunately be true, as the DNA of 33 women was found on his farm in Port Coquitlam, Vancouver, on the heels of his arrest.

Pickton was incarcerated at the maximum-security prison in Port-Cartier, Quebec.

He died at the age of 74.
