Asked at Comic-Con about the president’s reaction to the episode in which he is seen in bed with Satan, Matt Stone and Trey Parker simply replied with humor: “We’re terribly sorry”.

The episode also mocks the CBS/Paramount/Trump deal, while referencing Stephen Colbert’s firing with the line, “You guys saw what happened to CBS? Do you really want to end up like Colbert?”.

According to Forbes, Paramount’s acquisition of South Park, valued at $1.5 billion according to several sources, includes the production of 50 new episodes over a five-year period, while the entire South Park series is available for streaming on Paramount+.
