Threads: 30 million subscribers in just a few hours!

Threads, the new social network launched by Mark Zuckerberg via Instagram to compete with Twitter, is all the rage, having already reached 30 million subscribers within just a few hours of its launch.

Mark Zuckerberg himself proudly announced it this morning on… Threads!

«Wow, 30 million sigh ups as of this morning.»

«Feels like the beginning of something special, but we-ve got a lot of work ahead to build out the app.» he then said to his millions of new subscribers.

Zuckerberg also seems to be having a good time at the expense of Elon Musk and Twitter, even making a very rare tweet (his first in 11 years!) during the Threads launch evening to poke fun at the situation.

The mood is also rather festive on Threads, and several stars seem to be enjoying the change, too.

«Falling for Threads like I’m falling off this hammock», posted Zooey DesChanel.

And even Jennifer Lopez seems to find musical inspiration in Threads!
