Lionel Messi was slapped in the face and called stupid by a teammate

Lionel Messi, recognized as one of the three greatest players in the world, received a Will Smith-like slap in the face from one of his Argentina teammates.

Rodrigo De Paul, a longtime friend of the PSG star, and Messi, verbally bickered and De Paul ended up serving a slap to Messi and then smiled widely.

De Paul even dropped a “you're stupid, Leo”, causing Leandro Paredes to step in between the two men.
