Frankie Beverly, soul and R&B legend who founded the funk group Maze, has died. His family announced the news on Instagram. Originally from Philadelphia, Beverly met Marvin Gaye and launched Maze under his advice. The artist then obtained nine gold records between the end of the 1970s and the beginning of the 1990s. “Before I Let Go” is one of his biggest career hits. Frankie Beverly was 77 years old.
